Abstract The class of heterocyclic compounds exhibits a variety pharmacological actions, long employed as an active ingredient in drug design and production. Indole its derivatives are crucial medicinal chemistry. Due to physiological action, it has been gaining lot interest by exhibiting antibacterial, anticonvulsant, antifungal, antimalarial, antidiabetic, antidepressant, anticancer, antimicrobial properties. indole moiety constitutes benzene ring fused with pyrrole form bicyclic structure nitrogen atom the major component is produced techniques. sulfonamide analogs usually referred sulfa medicines have recently exhibit strong actions. goal this work present most recent methods for synthesizing indole-sulfonamide derivatives, together data on their reported activities synthetic scheme from 2010 2023. Grandilodines A-C, biologically active indole alkaloids from Kopsia grandifolia.

Three new indole alkaloids (1-3), named grandilodines A-C, and five known ones were obtained from the Malayan Kopsia grandifolia. The structures were established using NMR and MS analyses and, in the case of 1 and 2, were confirmed by X-ray diffraction analyses. Alkaloids 1, 3, and lapidilectine B (8) were found to reverse multidrug resistance in vincristine-resistant KB cells.
